Located 2 kilometers away from the village of Saint-Emilion, the Laplagnotte gite welcomes you all year round in the heart of the vines in an actual wine-maker's house, fully renovated in 2018. Come and stay as a family or amongst friends to enjoy this peaceful environment in the middle of our wine estate. You will be enchanted by the simplicity and the comfort of the area. This gite surrounded by a garden of 500m2 is independent from our house, located 50 meters away.

Fully-fitted kitchen: oven, fridge, dish-washer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, washing and drying machine.
Élie de Bétoulaud, lawyer and also poet, created the converted caves. 3 rooms have been dug out. The first one, the poet's "love chamber", the second one is in the shape of a cross and the third one has a binaural shape. The labyrinth nearby contains two symmetrical parts. All the galleries have an arcade leading to a room from which you join a second gallery parallel to the first one.
Located 3 km away from Saint-Emilion, take the direction of St Hippolyte and follow the signs to the church of St Hippolyte. Park on the forecourt, and the start of the walk is just a few meters away and signposted.
The church of Parsac is the smallest one. Dating from the 11th century, it seems to have been rebuilt by the English, but the original structure has become delapidated. However, the first two bays of the nave built in the 12th century, and the third one, have been preserved. The church of Saint-Georges, built in the 11th century atop Roman ruins, is most likely the oldest one. The bell-tower is 23 metres high, built in sandstone, and consists of 3 square floors. The church of Saint-Martin, originally constructed in the 12th century, has been renovated a lot in the past centuries. In the shape of a Latin cross, it has a bell-tower with its top part built in the 14th century.
The natural landscape of the Gurson lake and the authenticity of the area, with its forest parkland and its lake, complete a variety of sporting and nature activities offered there. The lake is opened to public swimming.
The Gurson lake is situated in the village of Villefranche-de-Lonchat, Dordogne, located 22 km away from the gite.
This old railway line has now become a cycle track and offers a 45 km hilly trail into the Entre-deux-Mers. Start in Latresne, pass a tunnel and enjoy varied landscapes, from the lush valley at the beginning to hillsides covered with grape vines near Sauveterre.
Located 25 km away from the gite, the bicycle station in Créon is a good place to start your trip. All along the track, you'll find places where you can stop for a picnic or a restaurant experience.
During your stay at the estate, discover our wines, Château Laplagnotte-Bellevue and Fourcaud Laussac, both classified Saint-Émilion Grand Cru and made according to biodynamic principles.
With Arnaud Delabarre who is at the head of the estate, you will discover how our wines are made and how to taste them.
